It adds up what your logged tickets would have cost, counting your own seat and the booking fee A-List waives, then takes out your monthly A-List fee, which you can set to what you pay. A month you went without A-List counts what it would have saved against you. The total is green when you came out ahead and red when the membership cost you more than it saved.
Yes. With an account, Profile gives you a private Filmi address to forward AMC’s booking emails to. Set up Gmail once on a computer and new ones arrive on their own; from any other inbox, forward each one yourself. Filmi only reads the emails you forward, and it never emails you back.
On a schedule, up until the showtime starts. Showtimes coming up soon are checked most often, and ones further out less often. Alerts clear themselves shortly after the movie begins.
No. Filmi tells you when a seat opens and hands you off: Book on AMC opens AMC’s seat map for that showtime, and you book with AMC as usual.
Yes. There’s no paid tier, no ads and nothing locked behind a paywall. Profile has a tip jar, and tipping doesn’t unlock anything.
No. You can watch seats and log tickets without one. Creating an account with a verified email raises the limits, from 5 active alerts to 25, from 1 favorite theater to 5 and from 1 saved seat map to 10, and lets you sign in on another device.
No. Filmi is for iPhone only, from the App Store in the US. There’s no Android app or web version.
